Okay here is all I ever got about St. Patricks day. I am not irish and when I was small I just never got it. Outside of getting the hell pinched out of my arm and lying about wearing green underwear..I just never got it. I know ..I know .. I was raised catholic. I know all about St. Patrick and him driving out the snakes out of Ireland and yada..yada. Well did you know there were never any snakes in Ireland ..because its an island. Just like Hawaii. So put that in your blarney. Anyhow we have like two big irish bars here in Oahu,Mcmurphys and O'tooles and they are right next to each other. Anyhow it seems like on March 17th about 1 million people try to get into those two bars. The have celtic bands and every one is wearing green and there is green beer and lots of special duty for policemen. Lots of arrest too. People just get stupid when they drink. Anyhow we have a parade with the bagpipes going and all the irish policemen and firemen parading. Cant irish men do anything but be policemen or firemen? Anyhow eventhough its like one day ahead " I will not be wearing my KISS ME I AM Irish tee shirt but maybe my IRISH I was IRISH one :)
