I had to take my kids to the eye doctor today for their yearly checkup and they wanted to eat after since they went straight to the doctors from school. Anyhow we go to this family resturant. You know the kind where they have everything. Anyhow on the table in front of us was this lady who was about 75 yrs old with dyed jet black hair and eyebrows arched really high with black eye pencil to draw them thick. She has while alabaster makeup that went into the creases of her wrinkles. She was sitting opposite of this elderly black man with white hair and he could hardly walk with his cane. Anyhow they were laughing and hooting and hollering and carrying on like high school kids. Everyone noticed them. Anyhow so the man gets up to pay their check and I am minding my own business eating my steak and mash potatos. Anyhow the lady comes up to our table and pulls up a chair and ask me "Honey why do you look so sad". I kind of was dumbfounded. Shit does my face really look like how I feel. All I could come up was that I was tired. She told me tired of what? You are so young yet and there is nothing you should be tired about. She was wearing some red festive sweatshirt with flashing something or other..Anyhow she is right..There is nothing for me to be tired of. Stuff happens and there are so many who cant do shit about their situation. I guess whining and all showed the world of how I have been lately. It kind of hits home when a stranger tells you that especially one who dyes her hair and eyebrows jet black. You just dont know when people come into your life and then they are gone. It makes you wanna go HMMMMMMMM.
