Nov 19th How many times can I turn 45 in a year?

So tonight my husband is taking me out for my birthday dinner (yeah I know my birthday was like October 31st). Since we were both sick and had a lot going on we are going out tonight. Well I have told him weeks ago to not plan anything for November 19th because that is the LUAU at the kids school. Every year they have this big fundraiser at the school and have music and hula and hawaiian food. So I bought tickets. I kept reminding him and then last week he tells me ' OH by the way I made reservations on November 19th at Bucca Di Beppu resturant. I invited Keith and his family". Duh ... well cancell because we have the luau to go to and I dont want to throw away the $100 tickets I bought. Nope he says.. he cancelled enough times already.. we are going. So here is the deal now we will go to the luau and stay for 2 hours and then on to the resturant to meet his high school friend and family. Ah if its for me then where are my friends? I just dont have the energy to argue. He just doesnt get it. I am so over my birthday now. Men here is a word to the wise. If you want to do something for your wife, girlfriend, or loved one.. do it when it matters not later. Its not that I dont appreciate it but like I said I am just so in the mix of getting ready for Thankgiving and cleaning and Christmas shopping that my birthday that was by the way OCTOBER 31ST is long over. Then get this ..he tells me he has to go out today to the mall and I cant go with him. WHY DIDNT YOU JUST TAKE CARE OF THIS BEFORE. Men ??? I am still trying to figure them out. Or at least figure the one I ended up with out. And please pray he doesnt buy me some godforsaken piece of cheap jewlery that I will not wear. I shouldnt say cheap but I have a load of this stuff and I never wear it. I take him physically and show him but it never works. He still trying to go the cheaper route. I told him one year I wanted this Tifanny braclet ..it cost like $275. He goes and buys a cheaper version ..way cheaper and the thing broke in pieces. Its not like we dont have the money...its just he doesnt hear me. I sound like I am so ungrateful but he just doesnt get it. We go through this every year and its old already. REALLY OLD.
