The sore throat from hell

My throat is so sore today. I have taken cough meds, gargled with salt water, ate upteen cough drops and now I have that post nasal drip that I have to wipe up even few seconds. I HATE being sick. My kids appear to be better. I went to pick them up from school today and the sore throat they felt in the morning seems to go away as they ran and jumped at school. Maybe I should run and jump... NAH!! It was quiet today. I did nothing but watch trash on t.v. What is it with Star Jones of the view? Now that she is shrinking she has a attitude to go with it. Sorry gang but I like her better when she was fat. Maybe thats why I dont watch The View. Anyhow I did watch a good show today its called RANDOM1. Its about these two guys who go all over the United States and help people. They dont give them money but help them with their dreams. It was pretty good and very uplifting. They helped get a prosthetic leg for a guy who was homeless, jobless and had the same beat up wooden leg he had for years. Even helped him get a construction job. Yep I shed a tear or two. I like the good in people and not all the drama stuff. It just seems so hopeful (as I blow my nose for the 20th time in 5 minutes), Walt will be staying home the rest of the week (Oh lucky me .. I still have to go buy stuff for my sons banquet for soccer this coming Saturday). All I am going to get from him is gripeing about how much I am spending on these kids. I think I will do that while he stays home and waits for the washer guy to come. Our washer went on the blink 2 days ago and so did the garage door. Got the garage door fixed but the washer only washes but no spin cycle. So I have to be like the pilgrams and put the clothes from the washer in my bathroom sink and scrub the soap out. I dont know how women did it in the olden days with a washboard and going to the river. Maybe thats why they looked all dirty and yucky. So I have decided to go back to school and get a masters in biology. Yep I am going down sometime this week and start back in the spring. Maybe I will decide to teach or something. I just havent figured that one out yet. I know one thing I just dont want to work for the police department anymore. Even the medical examiners office has so much stuff going on right now with lawsuits and stuff. Glad I never took that job there. It just doesnt seem too happy of place to work either. There was an investitagator there that just blew it with a homicide case. Needless to say she doesnt work there anymore. I am so done with working for city and county. Oh God just see fit for me to go to Vegas and hit one of those progressive machines and never have to work at place I hate again. Please Lord Please. Now that I am done begging (as I wipe the last snot from my nose as I type this blog) ...I think I will go to sleep since everyone else did already.
